1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FundFloor's website and platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

FundFloor provides a digital platform for managing rental security deposits in Nigeria. Our services include deposit management, interest generation through managed investments, damage claim processing, and dispute resolution between landlords and tenants.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of Nigeria to use FundFloor. Landlords must verify property ownership, and all users must complete identity verification (KYC) before accessing platform features.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. FundFloor is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your account information.

5. Deposits & Investments

Rental deposits managed through FundFloor are invested in medium-risk financial instruments. While we target 25% annual returns, actual returns may vary. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. The principal deposit amount is protected through our insurance arrangements.

6. Claims & Dispute Resolution

Landlords may file damage claims at the end of a lease term. Tenants have the right to dispute claims. All disputes are resolved through our mediation process, and decisions are binding on both parties. FundFloor reserves the right to engage external mediators when necessary.

7. Fees

FundFloor charges a management fee on interest generated from deposits. There are no fees on the principal deposit amount. All applicable fees are disclosed before transaction completion. Fee schedules may change with 30 days' prior notice.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information during registration or claims
  • Use the platform for money laundering or other illegal activities
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures
  • File fraudulent damage claims

9. Limitation of Liability

FundFloor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
